Payment Methods
Only Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit card are accepted and must be on main renter's name while paying at the rental desk.

The following payment methods are not accepted:
Diners club, Virtual debit or credit cards, Debit cards and Prepaid debit cards.

All charges have to be paid in the local currency and that Finalrentals and VIPCars is not responsible for any mispriced refund due to currency conversion.

Deposit
A refundable deposit of USD 800 is held from the credit card at the time of rental until the vehicle is returned.

It will be released in full unless there are unexpected charges resulting from, for example, traffic fines, returning the car with missing fuel or in need of additional cleaning.

Please note that the security deposit indicated here is an estimated amount. The exact deposit amount depends on various factors, like your rental time, length of rental, applicable waivers and fees, your place of residence and your exact rental location. This means that the actual deposit amount may occasionally differ from the standard deposit amount.

Transferable Insurance Coverage
The following insurance type(s) Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Third Party Liability (TPL) is (are) not included.

If the customer has CDW coverage in his/her credit card insurance, then it should be up to the full value of the vehicle that is being rented.

Please note that if your credit card company or other insurance providers offer Collision Damage or similar coverage transferable to rental vehicles, it is your responsibility to verify whether it is valid in your rental country. If you wish to waive similar coverage offered by the supplier, you may need to present written proof of coverage from the insurance provider. If the proof is deemed insufficient, it is mandatory to purchase the insurance at the rental desk.

Insurance must be valid for 30 days from the date of vehicle pick-up.

If renting a vehicle using a credit card, a hold of USD 800 will be applied for security reasons.

If you do not comply with the insurance requirements of the supplier OR your credit card coverage is not enough / does not provide coverage for the rented vehicle, it is mandatory to purchase insurance at the rental desk in order to rent the vehicle.

Insurance can be purchased at the rental desk for an additional charge -

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) - USD 10 per day with deductible USD 800, Theft Waiver (THW) - USD 15 per day with deductible USD 1,500.

Please Note: 1. In case of an accident, customers first need to contact the police at +17215422222 and then contact the rental company. Renter is obliged to report any and all occurrences pertaining to the vehicle, such as damages, theft, etc. within two hours thereafter, to both the Police Department and the rental office.
2. Renter will pay the rental company the charges to repair or replace broken windshields, damages to tires, excluding normal punctures, wheels, rims, steering and parts thereof, due wholly or partly to Renter's or any authorized co-driver(s) negligence or any other reason; all costs incurred by rental company will bear interest at 1% per month as of the date of Renter's default.
3. The Renter shall be fully responsible for any and all damages to the vehicle caused by:
a). Driving over the legal speed limits;
b). Leaving the key in the unattended vehicle or leaving the vehicle unlocked.
c). Driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs; or any other irresponsible action by the renter and/or any authorized co-driver(s), any unauthorized driver. The renter shall prove that the vehicle has been operated in accordance with the provisions of this agreement.
d). Lessor reserves the right to repossess the vehicle at all times if the Renter and/or any co-driver(s) do not adhere to the terms and conditions of this agreement. In such event a repossession charge equivalent to one day’s rental shall be payable by Renter to Lessor.
4. Damage to the roof and to the underneath of the vehicle are not covered by standard coverage.
Damage to the following items is not covered:
a. Antenna, windows, wheels, interior, lights, petrol cap, upholstery, an empty battery, flat tyres, lost keys, loss of vehicle documents, lost registration plates, taxi transfer after an accident, running out of fuel and towing fees are not covered.
b. You are not allowed to drive the rental vehicle off-road.
c. If an incorrect type of fuel is put in the vehicle, it is forbidden to drive it. You will have to cover all rectification and repair costs related to incorrect fuel usage.
d. The Supplier is not responsible for any personal belongings left in the vehicle after the end of the rental or in case of theft.
5. If you do not return the keys to the Supplier when the car is stolen, your insurance is deemed void and you might be held responsible for the full value of the vehicle.

Insurance Coverage
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
It is included in your rental amount.
Collision damage waiver reduces the customer’s damage responsibility to the excess/deductible amount.
The excess amount for CDW is USD 800 for all vehicle groups.

Theft Waiver (THW)
It is included in your rental amount.
It reduces the client's financial responsibility for loss or theft to the vehicle to the sum of the deductible.
The excess amount for THW is USD 1500 for all vehicle groups.

Third Party Liability Insurance (TPL)
It is included in your rental amount.
Insurance coverage for the vehicle rented includes Third Party Liability with a limited cover of USD 50,000 for personal injuries for material damages.

Driver Age
The minimum driver's age is 18 years and the maximum age is 85 years.

A young driver surcharge will apply for drivers aged from 18 years to 25 years.
A Senior driver surcharge will apply for drivers aged from 65 years to 85 years.

Driver’s License
A full and valid driving license must have been held for at least 1 year with no major endorsements. A valid ID card or passport would be required at time of pick up.

All valid drivers’ license are accepted.

If your Driving License has multiple parts, you must present all of them.

Only National Driving Licenses that meet the following requirements are accepted without an International Driving Permit:
1.must be issued by a country that is a contracting party of the Vienna Convention on Road Traffic
2.must be printed in the Latin alphabet
3.must be in credit card format

You must also present:

5.Identification card of your country of residence

If the above requirements aren't met; then it is mandatory for the customer to present an International driving license (IDL) at the time of vehicle pick up.

If the customer's home country doesn't issue an international driving license (e.g. drivers from People's Republic of China), then a notarized translation is mandatory to present at the time of vehicle pick up.

International driver license or a notarized translation must be accompanied by the original domestic license of the driver.

You must present a credit card when picking up your rental vehicle.

Please note that it is your responsibility to make sure that you have all the necessary documentation, that your Driving License is valid in your intended rental country and for your intended type of rental vehicle, and that you have the correct immigration documents. The same applies if you're planning to visit other countries in the rental vehicle. Your failure to do so will result in your rental being refused and/or considered a no-show and you will be charged accordingly.

All requirements apply to both you and any Additional Drivers.

All drivers and additional drivers must present a full valid original driving license and the voucher or booking confirmation document when picking up the vehicle.

If you cannot pick up the vehicle due to insufficient documentation or because your credit card is not valid or accepted by the Supplier (FinalRentals) or does not hold sufficient funds to cover the deposit, this is also treated as a no-show.

Fees
Airport Fee is included in the rental amount.

Other Fees:
1. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for all garaging and congestion charges, parking and other traffic fines and penalties, and toll fees / road tax (if not specified otherwise) incurred during the rental period. All such charges will be forwarded to you along with any administrative charges from the Supplier (Finalrentals).
2. If the vehicle requires more than the Supplier's usual cleaning, you will be subject to a special cleaning fee varying from USD 50 to USD 250.
3.You are responsible if the key(s) are lost or damaged and due to pay a penalty fee to the Supplier of the vehicle.

Roadside Assistance
Roadside assistance is available. Relevant contact details and roadside assistance procedures will be given prior to the commencement of the hire.

Fuel Policy
You have to return the vehicle with same fuel amount as it was supplied to you at the time of pickup. In case of less fuel missing fuel will be charged on your return. Unused fuel is not refundable. Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated. Supplier's fuel policies change from time to time, please confirm at rental counter.

Please note that the fuel price per liter/gallon charged by the Supplier may be higher than the price at local petrol stations.

Mileage Policy
Unlimited

Cross Border Travel
Crossing the border is only allowed into the following countries/areas: Saint Martin.

Cross-bordering into these countries is free of charge.

Local Taxes
Tax is included in the rental price. However, for all the optional extras or special equipment, or extra services, Tax would be levied separately.

Delivery and collection
Delivery and Collection is available for an additional charge of USD 15 per service.

Out of Hours
Out of hours service is available and additional charge will apply. Please check at the rental desk for more information.

For airport pick-ups, it is essential that you give us the correct flight number and arrival time. We are not responsible for any failed rentals if you did not provide this information or did not do it in time.

Grace Period
Supplier may allow a grace period for vehicle pick up / return at his own discretion.

Supplier will deny to give you the rental vehicle in case you are not able to rent the vehicle during the grace period.

Additional charges will apply in case you are late to return the vehicle or return the vehicle at the rental desk beyond your drop off time/check in time.

Please check at the rental desk directly by calling the supplier for more information.

VIP Cars won't be held responsible if the supplier charges you for late pick up / drop off OR refuses to provide the vehicle beyond your check in time. This is entirely between the rental company and the customer.

Extras

Confirmation of Special Equipments depends upon the availability at the rental desk.
